San Francisco: Day 3
Today we spent with Jeff and Melanie. We drove to see the redwood trees which is something my mom has always wanted to do. She wanted to see the ones that you could drive your car through, these were not them, but they were still massive and very cool!
"Thats one big tree!"

This tree is as wide as we were tall!

Jeff didnt want me to post this picture on facebook, so ill just post it on my blog instead!
We went to the beach and it was freezing! But is was really really pretty and the cliffs and the scenery and everything put together made it really nice. We meant to just put our feet in but Alie, Dad and I got hit by a rouge wave and ended up soaked. Alie ended up having to pull her tank top down into a make shift skirt, I lucking had left my gym shorts in the car.

Alie saw what she thought was a dinner on our way to the beach so after the beach we went back to it for lunch. Turns out it was an indian place. My family had never really eaten indian food before but Jeff and Melanie love it. And turns out so did we, it was nice to have Jeff there to tell us what was good. I am now pretty much in love with indian food!

Jeff took us on a wild goose chase to this 300 step light house....we thought, "300 steps sounds impressive, chance to see whales thats cool, worth a 2 hour drive" Turns out it was 300 steps down to the light house, which happened to be closed on wednesdays and whale watching season is january through may. Oh well. It was still cool. It was SO SO windy that we almost blew away but it is the furthest point west you can be on the continental united states so that was pretty cool.

Look at how the trees grow! It is that windy...and always!!!
